Berry Bend Equestrian Campground is located at Harry S. Truman Lake which is forested with rocky hills and bluffs. The Berry Bend Equestrian Campground is an excellent fishing location. Visitors enjoy fishing, hunting, swimming, and boating. There are whitetail deer and turkey and other animals and birds that live in and around the Berry Bend area including raccoons, skunks, squirrels, turkey vultures, hawks, ospreys, and during the winter months bald eagles can be seen. Campground Events:Campground will be closed Nov 7th to Nov 8th, 2008 due to the annual managed deer hunt for the physically challenged. The east an west Equestrian Trails will also be closed to horseback riding during this time.
