Flaming Gorge Corporation operates this campground under a Special Use Permit with the US Forest Service. Situated at 6100', this campground is representative of a high desert community. The landscape is mainly sagebrush, and temperatures can fluctuate from warm days to cool nights. There are 66 single-family campsites in Loops A and B, 43 of which can be reserved.
New in 2005: Loop A sites A 16, 20, 22, 24, 26, 30, 32, and 33 have electricity in the sites. Site A 30 is a pull through site.
Most sites have a cabana, picnic table, and a fire ring. The campground area offers a boat ramp, fish cleaning station, restrooms with electricity, potable water, and a dump station. Campground is located next to Buckboard Marina.
