The Wanaki Campground is located in north central Minnesota within the Norway Beach Recreation Area. The Norway Beach . Visitor Information/Interpretive Center is nearby. Interpretive programs Wednesday, Fridays and Saturday from Memorial Day thru Labor Day. Special Events include Kids Fishing Day in June, Bald Eagle Day in July and Smokey's Birthday Party in August.. Wanaki Campground also has 23 first come /first serve sites.
