Located in northeast Nevada, 30 miles southeast of the town of Elko. Campground is situated at an elevation of 7,200 feet. Sites are surrounded by aspen and cottonwood trees. Lamoille Creek runs through the back loop of the campground. Interior roads are paved. Sites are hardened. The nearest telephone is 9 miles away. Nearby activities include: wilderness, horseback trail riding, hiking, fishing; wildlife viewing, picnicking, and a self-guided nature trail and auto interpretive tour. No discharge of firearms of fireworks. There is no automotive tour available.

Located in Northeast Nevada, 30 miles southeast of Elko. Take I-80 to any Elko exit. Head south to Idaho Street, turn south on 12th Street (From East) or 5th Street (From West), to SR 227. Travel 25 miles on SR 227 to FS 660, Lamoille Canyon Scenic Byway. Travel 8 miles on FS 660, to campground.
