Big Creek Group Use Site is located 19 miles north of Columbia Falls along the North Fork of the Flathead River in the Big Creek Campground. The group camping areas are nestled in the middle of the campground with convenient access to the river, tables, campsites, and toilets. The group use site accomidates 200 people. Facilities at the campground include a river access site, day use facilities, water, 1 group camping area, 22 individual campsites, and vault toilets. Please pack out what you brought including your garbage. Grizzly Bears live in the area; store your food, beverages, coolers, and garbage in a manner that does not attract bears to your campsite, either in your vehicle, hang it properly, or in an approved food storage container. Big Creek Campground is just a few miles south of the Camas Road; the west entrance into Glacier National Park. The North Fork of the Flathead River is desginated as a Wild and Scenic River with wonderful fishing and floating opportunities.
