Storm Mountain is located up Cottonwood Canyon, 6 miles from Brighton at an elevation of 5200 feet. Nestled on the forested banks of Cottonwood Creek, this campground has access to fully stocked trout fishing. Hiking and picnicking are also popular activities.

Depending on snowfall, Storm Mountain is open May to September, some sites are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. There are 15 single sites and 3 group day use areas.

Directions (Google Directions):

From Highway 215 take 6200 South exit. Go eastbound for 1 mile to Wasatch Blvd. Go 1 mile south to junction with Big Cottonwood Canyon Highway (Highway 190). Make left at junction, follow Big Cottonwood Canyon Highway for 2.8 miles to the Storm Mountain Campground.
