Craigs Creek Group Area is located on the Laurel River Lake in the Daniel Boon National Forest. Set in an Appalachian area, there are plenty of hills and valleys, with beautiful lakes, all of which leave lots of opportunity for outdoor activity.
Each of the group areas has a fire circle, large grill, picnic tables and lantern pole. The area has a field, volleyball net, and horseshoe pits near the picnic shelter, which can be reserved for day use only.
There are a variety of activities available in the area, the Craigs Creek Boat Ramp is about a mile away, providing plenty of opportunity for water activities such as fishing, swimming and whitewater paddling.
