The crescent Lake Campground is a Superior National Forest Campground. Roughly half the sites have lake frontage. Most of the sites offer at least a partial lake view. The entire campground is heavily wooded with white pines, red pines, spruce, balsam, birch and aspen. This is a quiet campground with an emphasis on exploring the nearby wilderness, enjoying nature, and fishing.
Located 13 miles from the campground, Sawbill Canoe Outfitters is the concessionaire operator and maintains a store with showers, laundry, fishing licenses, fishing bait and tackle, ice, grocery and convenience items, canoe and camping gear rental, and a pay telephone. Although, there are no water, sewer, or electrical hookups at the Crescent Lake Campground, it can easily accomodate large motor homes and trailers--including fifth-wheelers.
Trash and recycling facilities are located throughout the campground. There is a handi-capped accessible water spigot available.
