From Philipsburg, MT, drive approx. 6.3 miles south towards Anaconda on Montana Hwy 1 to its junction with the Skalkaho Hwy 38. Turn right on Hwy 38 and travel west for approx. 13 miles. The entrance to the West Fork Cabin is on your left behind a locked gate, which uses the same combo at the cabin itself. Parking is available at the cabin, and there is enough room to maneuver large vehicles/trailers. Although accessed by a paved state highway, the entrance road to the cabin is not plowed during the winter. From December through March or April, you may need to park in the provided parking area to the right of the highway and walk approx. 200 yrds to the cabin.
