There are 29 individual campsites available on a
first-come, first-served basis. For use of this fee
site, please contact the Roseburg Bureau of Land
Management District Office for current rates and
availability.
Disabled access within the Susan Creek
Campground is well-developed throughout the
area, including campsites, flush restrooms and
shower facilities, and several nature trails with
river overlooks. The Susan Creek Campground
opens in late April and closes in mid November.
A voluntary donation is requested for use of the
showers to help fund their upkeep and cleaning.
Pets are allowed in the campground, but must be
kept on a leash. Each campsite includes vehicle
parking, a picnic table, and plenty of beautiful
trees.
One-half mile downstream is the Susan Creek dayuse
area. There is on fee. Pets are not allowed.
Access to the Susan Creek Campground is along
the Rogue-Umpqua National Scenic Byway on
Highway 138. This is where river access for
rafters is located. Also from there, an easy 0.8 mile
hike leads to the 50-foot Susan Creek waterfall.
There are interpretive programs on most Saturday
evenings throughout the summer. Bureau of Land
Management campground hosts are on duty.
