Upper Pines has returned to the reservation system for the 2010 season. It will return to first-come, first-serve status on November 29, 2010.
Upper Pines Campground is located in Yosemite National Park in Central California at 4000 feet in elevation in Yosemite Valley.
Yosemite Valley contains many of the features the Yosemite National Park is famous for.
Upper Pines is the largest of the three reservation campgrounds in Yosemite Valley. All three reservation campgrounds (Upper, Lower, and North Pines) are located next to one another so the distance between campgrounds and other facilities is not a factor in determining which campground to choose.
- There are no electric, water, or sewer hook-ups available at individual campsites, although a free dump station is located on site.
- The valley campgrounds can accommodate tents or RV's (please check site alerts to be sure your equipment will fit).
- Pets are permitted in family sites (they must be on a 6' leash and may not be left unattended).
