Warm Lake Campground is located adjacent to beautiful Warm Lake at an elevation of 5,300 feet, near rustic Warm Lake Lodge. An old-growth Ponderosa pine forest towers over the campground, providing partial shade, and Chipmunk Creek runs along the site. Wildlife and summer wildflowers are plentiful. Warm Lake offers both shoreline and boat fishing opportunities for cutthroat, rainbow, lake, and bull trout. Boating, canoeing, and swimming are popular on the lake, and the surrounding area offers great hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, ATVing, and hunting. A new, as-yet-unnamed hiking and biking trail was built recently and can be accessed at the entrance of nearby Shoreline Campground. For ATV enthusiasts, Telephone Ridge Trail #112 offers 20 miles of ATV/OHV trails for all riding levels, with staging areas within the campground and at Shoreline Campground just down the road. A boat ramp is located at Shoreline and a developed swim beach is available less than 1/4 mile away at Warm Lake Lodge.
This campground provides vault toilets, potable water, and garbage service, but no electricity. Roads and parking spurs are gravel. Each site has a picnic table, fire ring, and grill. A campground host is located onsite. The lake is not visible from the campground. Warm Lake Lodge is across the road and has a restaurant and small store with camping and fishing essentials.
Camp host is located on site.
