This campground at an elevation of 7,700 feet is located near Woodland Park and approximately 2 miles from the Manitou Park Recreation Area which includes Manitou Lake. It is accessible by all vehicle types. Located within a ponderosa pine forest, the campground offers 48 paved parking spots, a ball field, playground, and a sand pit for vollyball as well as a horseshoe pit. There are group cooking and picnic tables, a large pedestal fire grill and a campfire circle. There is a dumpster on site. There is a double vault toilet and potable water on site with a dump station nearby. Camp host is located approximately one mile away at Colorado Campgound. Although the area was developed for group camping, the facility may be reserved for day use at the overnight use rate.
