This is the Swan Lake Cabin on the Resurrection Pass Trail, not the West Swan Lake Cabin near the Resurrection Pass Trail, nor the Swan Lake Cabin near Petersburg.
Winter travelers need to be able to evaluate avalanche and ice conditions.
Open to over-snow motorized vehicles from December 1 to April 30 every other winter season beginning with the winter of 2007/2008. Closed to motorized vehicles every other winter season beginning with the 2008/2009 winter season.
Closed to horse/pack stock from 4/1 to 6/30.
The person holding the reservation must be 18.
No commercial use allowed.
3 Consecutive Days Maximum per person from 5/15 thru 8/18.
Treat or boil water before consumption.
Maximum group size allowed is 8.

Effective November 17, 2003, reservations for Alaska cabins will be subject to a new policy allowing only one change per reservation. A change in reservation is defined as a modification to the start or end date of the reservation. After one change has been made, if additional changes are desired, the customer must cancel the reservation and at a later time, re-book the new dates. This policy has been established to assure that reservations for cabins are fair and equitable for everyone.
