Lower Provo is located 11 miles from the town of Kamas, UT at an elevation of 7400 feet. Surrounded by tall cottonwood and spruce trees, the campground is located in a secluded area on the banks of the Provo River.

If you're looking for a beautiful place to get away from the city, this is one of the great places to escape to. Hidden in the beautiful canyons campers will find lakes, rivers, streams and crisscrossing trails. The rivers and streams are all stocked with trout and campers can also enjoy boating and canoeing.

From Salt Lake City, Utah, take Highway 80 east for 30 miles to Highway 40. Go south on Highway 40 for 1 mile to Kamas exit. Go southeast on Highway 189 for 12 miles to Kamas. Turn east on Highway 150, travel 11 miles to campground.
