Located in the eastern high Sierra of California. The campground is located just over 10,000 feet in elevation. At this elevation it can snow any time of the year. Due to the amount of snow, or lack of it, at this elevation the opening and closing dates can vary considerably.

Directions (Google Directions):

Take US 395 to its junction of State Highway 120 West. Take 120 west 10 miles towards Tioga Pass. Turn right on forest road 1N04 to Saddlebag Lake. Proceed up 1N04 for 2.4 miles. Take first right just past open gate on road. Campground is on the right past restroom.
