LAKE DAVIS RECREATION AREA LOCATED AT THE DUMP STATION SITES HAVE PICNIC TABLES, PAVED SITES, AND PORTABLE TOILETS and WATER, FISHING, BOATING, SWIMMING 2 VEHICLES PER SITE, NO FACILITIES, PORTABLE TOILETS ONLY Located in the northern Sierra Nevada Mountains, approximately seven miles from the town of Portola, California and within the Lake Davis Recreation Area. Facilities provided within the Lake Davis Recreation Area include four boat ramps, convenience docks, RV dump station, convenience store, and fishing access points. Portable toilets and trash containers are provided. Potable water is now available throughout the campground.

Directions (Google Directions):

From Reno, Nevada travel north on Highway 395 to Highway 70, turn west on Highway 70 and travel to Portola, California. Turn north on West Street, travel 6 miles to Lake Davis. Cross dam and take first left, travel 5 miles to the Lightning Tree Campground.
