Cabin is a 12' X 14' precut cedar log cabin equipped with wooden bunks (sleeping space for 4-6 people), table, benches, oil stove for heat (you must provide your own #1 diesel fuel or kerosene), and an outside toilet.
Please remember to take your fuel container with you when you leave. The cabin does not have mattresses or cooking utensils. Cabin users should bring their own stove fuel, sleeping bags, pads, cook stoves, matches, cooking gear, food, lantern, toilet paper, and garbage bags. A boat with oars is provided (boat uses a long shaft motor - not provided).
Sweetwater Lake is a popular sport fishing spot for rainbow trout, cutthroat trout, and dolly varden as well as coho, sockeye, and pink salmon. Migratory waterfowl are abundant before fall freeze up. Many animals, including Sitka black-tailed deer, black bear, marten, mink, otter and beaver are commonly seen. Seals are often observed in the lake.
