This area is the most popular of all recreation areas at Perry Lake. There are 273 campsites ranging from primitive walk-in tent sites, to full electric and water hook-up sites. Slough Creek has well-maintained campsites, newer shower facilities, a dump station, handicap accessible campsites, a boat ramp, playground equipment, and a 2 ** mile interpretive hiking trail. Two group campsites are available, located adjacent to the 30-mile Perry Hiking Trail. No dogs are allowed in the Locust Loop.
