Arch Dam Campground, at an elevation of 6,200 feet, is located just a few miles from the Flaming Gorge Dam and Reservoir and the Green River Spillway. With this location, you are in a prime spot for fishing and rafting. The campground is situation in rolling sagebrush and high desert foliage with a few pinyon pines.
Arch Dam has 3 group sites, and with plenty to do in the area, it's the perfect place for a family reunion or other large group gathering. The area is known not only for its beautiful and startling red cliffs, but also its world class fishing. Lake, brown and rainbow trout fishing, boating, swimming and scuba diving also available at the reservoir. River rafting on the Green is also spectacular, with the red cliff walls rising on both sides.
The dam at the reservoir offers guided tours every hour of the working hydroelectric plant and the history of the area. The Fenley Dinosaur Area is also a popular attraction for those interesting in learning the history of the area.
