June 13, 2008 to September 09, 2008. Located thirty-five miles northeast of the town of Dubois, Idaho, in the willow and pine trees. Campground is situated along Steel Creek. Phone, gas and groceries are thirty-five miles away in Dubois, ID; or minimal services available in Kilgore, ID approximately 9 miles away at the Kilgore Store . Hiking, fishing, mountain biking and ATVs are popular activities. Restrooms, garbage containers and water are provided.

From Dubois, Idaho, travel north on Interstate 15 to the Stoddard Creek Exit (Exit 184). Go east on West Camas- Miners Creek Road (FR 006) approximately 14 miles to the Steel Creek Road (FR 478), turn right and continue 3/4 mile to campground entrance.
