Camp Details:

Cottonwood Cabin, located 38 miles up the Entiat Valley, was constructed in the 1940's as an administrative site to house fire, trail and campground crew personnel. The facility also includes a barn and corral where the district's stock was kept during a portion of the season for use by the trail crew and lookouts. The cabin is located directly adjacent to the Entiat River in a mature lodgepole pine and spruce forest at an elevation of approximately 3000 feet.

Cabin amenities include indoor hot and cold running water, propane cook stove, wall heater, and refrigerator and LED lights. Outside is a private shower facility and pit toilet. The water and light system is solar powered. Furnishings to accommodate 4 visitors include a dining table, lounge chair, futon sofa that coverts to a double bed, and a separate double bed. The small kitchen area is supplied with basic pots, pans, silverware and plates. A picnic table and fire ring is located adjacent to the cabin on the river bank. Visitors are allowed to erect one outside tent at the designated tent pad for additional guests.

Use of the horse corral is available for an extra charge. A maximum of 4 head is permitted. A stock tank and feed bunk is provided but visitors are required to bring their own weed free hay or pellet style feed for their livestock. Corral must be reserved in advance through the Ranger Station.

Cottonwood Campground is adjacent and has 24 standard camp units available on a first come basis.
