Amenity Details:

Woodman Center is a rustic camp that also has grassy campsites and school houses. Electricty available at school houses. Drinking water is pumped by hand from a well. Property features a pond which is a popular fishing attraction, though it is catch and release. Flush toliets are available, but no showers. There is one open shelter with fire pit, one backpacking shelter, and a nature shelter.

Addtional Things to Do:

Numerous rustic hiking trails weave through the property, combined with some upkept grass trails for hiking. Archery and BB Gun range is available to groups with proper instructors. Fishing at the pond is allowed, though catch and release. Numerous picnic spots available.

Woodman Center is more than 500 forested acres of rugged hills and valleys located north of Richland Center, Wisconsin. Woodman Center is a great place for rustic camping but also has grassy campsites, school houses for overnight adventures, and hiking trails. Water is available seasonally. Glacier’s Edge Council periodically holds special events and programs for Scouts at Woodman Center. Woodman Center is also available for use by other organizations.

Take HWY 80 North out of Richland Center, Wisconsin. 12 Milies later turn right on HWY I. Drive about 3 miles. Turn Right at Woodman Center sign.

Closest Facilities:

Small gas station store (no gas) approx 5 miles away from Camp. Otherwise, nearest city is Richland Center, which has a 24 hour Walmart.
