Capacity: 15 people Activities: Hunting, fishing, camping, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, and hiking area among some of the activities surrounding the cabin. The cabin has one large sleeping room and a large kitchen. Rooms: One sleeping room is available with a total of 6 single beds with mattresses (bring your own bedding or sleeping bag). The kitchen has a gas stove for cooking. The living room has a gas furnace for heating. Please plan to bring your own drinking water. An out house will be available. There is snow machine access only in winter. Propane is provided for the lights, cook stove, and space heater.

Johnson Guard Station is located 30 miles east of Soda Springs. Take Highway 34 north from Soda Springs approx. 12 miles to the China Hat turn-off (black foot river narrows). This road will follow Blackfoot River for another 11 miles to a junction, there is a Forest Service sign at this point take the right fork (102 Rd) southeast for another 10 miles to the Guard Station. Maps are available upon request at the district office.
