Camp Details:

Amanita Campground is located on the west shore of scenic Lake Cascade at an elevation of 4,850 feet in west central Idaho near the town of Donnelly. A mixed-growth conifer forest towers over the campground offering lots of shade, and wildlife and summer wildflowers are plentiful. Lake Cascade offers excellent opportunities for boating, waterskiing, canoeing, windsurfing, sailing, and fishing for rainbow trout, Coho salmon, smallmouth bass, and perch. Hiking and biking are popular in the area as well. The Crown Point Railroad Grade Trail, a 2.5-mile out-and-back trail begins nearby and is family-friendly and great for hiking, biking, and horses.

Vault toilets, potable water, and garbage/recycling service are provided at this campground, but there is no electricity. Roads and parking spurs are gravel. Some sites have lake views, and some have shoreline access. Campground host and boat ramp are located next door at Rainbow Point Campground. Some first come, first served sites may be available.
