Seely Creek Guard Station which is located on top of the Wasatch Plateau was built in either late 1907 or early 1908. The site is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The cabin is available for reservations from July 1st through October 15 and from December 15th through March 31st. The cabin has a woodstove and fireplace for heating. There is a table and chairs and bunks without mattresses for 4. An outhouse is approximately 50 feet away. The cabin is located at an elevation of approximately 10,000 feet which means you should be prepared for all types of weather including snow or hail especially after September.Fire wood will be supplied during the winter months only.
