Cabin is a 12' X 12' precut cedar log cabin equipped with wooden bunks (sleeping space for 4-6 people), table, benches, wood stove for heat, and an outside toilet. It does not have mattresses or cooking utensils. Cabin users should bring their own water (no freshwater source near cabin), sleeping bags, pads, cook stoves, matches, cooking gear, food, lantern, toilet paper, and garbage bags. A boat with oars is provided (boat uses a long shaft motor - not provided). Wood supply cannot be guaranteed.Please be conservative with wood use and bring a cook stove for cooking.
Hiking opportunities to the western shore of the island afford views of the open ocean. Fishing is excellent for cutthroat and Dolly Varden trout, steelhead, and four species of salmon. Good hunting area. Loons and harbor seals are common.
