With so much to do in the Stanislaus National Forest, Big Meadow is the perfect group campground for your family reunions, or any big group gathering. Big Meadow is located just 25 miles east of the town of Arnold, CA, it's the place for outdoorsmen to escape to.
There is fishing, whitewater sports, hiking and mountain biking all available within in a reasonable area. Columbia State Park is nearby with its museums and visitors center.
Reservations are available from the beginning of June through mid-September. Reservations can be made up to 1 year in advance, but they must be made at least 4 days prior to your intended arrival date. Big Meadows has both single family and group sites. Only the group sites are reservable and the fee is on a sliding scale. The $50.00 fee is for the first 25 people, then there is an additional $2 per person fee after that for up to a 50 person maximum.
