Two blocks from historic County Courthouse where a Market is held every 4th Saturday and the park is within walking distance of Meridian restaurants and shops. Children's playground with skate ramp in Lions Park just across from campgrounds.

Events are held on the grounds throughout the year; Easter Egg Hunt in April, BBQ Cookoff & Tractor Pull & Show in June, Texas Music Festival in September and the National Championship Barbecue Cookoff in October.
