A visit to Idaho is not complete without some camping. So many local attractions and the nearby outdoors recreation are certain to keep you coming back persistently. Some activities here at Whitehouse Campground are hiking, whitewater paddling, swimming, and fishing, so running out of exciting things to do won’t happen. You believe that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Hiking along the Granite Ridge Trail is good fun; float down the rapids of White Sand Creek in a kayak.
All the outdoors enjoyable things in the Bitterroot Range will keep you
coming back repeatedly. Whitehouse Campground is in close proximity to Clearwater National Forest which is a wonderful place. The Bitterroot Range scenery is always beautiful.
This campground is so beautiful. Whitehouse Campground is right by the State Line Trail, and the peak
of Jay Point can be distinguished from Whitehouse Campground. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Bitterroot Range. The Colgate Licks Nature National Recreation Trail offers hiking at its best, and paddling on Crooked Fork is so much fun. Have a good hiking adventure along the Lee Ridge Trail, and as expected Robin Creek flows through this area.
There is so much fun stuff close to Whitehouse Campground; campgrounds like these are splendid.
Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at nearby Walton Lakes, and get wet paddling on Lochsa River.
Camping out positively is a pleasant thing to do; Whitehouse Campground in Idaho is a really splendid spot to spend some time. The amount of rain that falls at Whitehouse Campground is close to the national average; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most snow, and the driest month of the year is July. Through the days of summer highs here at Whitehouse Campground reach the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and nighttime lows at Whitehouse Campground throughout the wintertime usually fall into the 10's.
