Camp Details:
Byers Creek Campground is located about 7 miles southwest of Fraser on County Road 73 at an elevation of 9,360 feet. The campground is situated in a dense spruce stand where St Louis and Byers Creek join. There are six sites in the campground. As the road is narrow near the campground, it might be difficult to maneuver an RV into a site. Thus all of the sites are more suitable for tents. All of the sites are heavily wooded and have a picnic table and fire ring or grate. The maximum vehicle length that can be accommodated is 32 feet.
The roads through the campground are gravel. There is one water hydrant and one restroom. The restroom will not accommodate disabled persons. Reservations are not accepted. The season for this campground normally runs from Memorial Day through Labor Day, depending on the weather. Check with the Forest Service for the current fees.
