Lofers Bend Campground is on Whitney Lake. Whitney Lake is located in Central Texas on the main stem of the Brazos River. Over two million people visit Whitney Lake each year to enjoy camping, fishing, boating, water skiing, hunting, sight-seeing, and much more. Lofers Bend offers 68 campsites with water and electrical hookups. Additonal amenities include 3 restrooms, a dump station, and a boat ramp. A large day use and group camp are also available for use.

From I-35 in Hillsboro, take Hwy 22 W, 12 mi to Whitney, contintue 7 mi, past Whitney, turn right before dam. Follow park road to 4 way stop. Turn left to go to West Lofers or right to go to East Lofers to the gate house.
