8600 foot elevation. 22 sites adjacent to Posey Lake, surrounded by mixed conifer and aspen forest. Group campsite can accomodate 35 people/5 vehicles. Additional facilities include a fish cleaning station, as well as a separate day use area with picnic tables, accessible restrooms, and a dock. Non-motorized boating on Posey Lake. Trailhead access to the Great Western Trail, and a short trail to Tule Lakes. Another hiking trail leads to a lookout on the mountainside. Day trips to Bryce Canyon National Park, Kodachrome State Park, Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, Petrified Forest State Park, and Anasazi State Park.
