The 327 site Mather Campground is located in Northern Arizona within Grand Canyon National Park on the South Rim.
Campsites include a fire ring with cooking grate, a picnic table, parking space, and room for up to 3 tents. NO HOOKUPS available, and generator use is allowed during the hours of 8AM - 10AM and 6PM - 8PM only. Almost all of our RV spaces are pull-through.
There is one loop in the campground which is a "generator free zone" - PINE LOOP.
Trailer Village, located next to us can accommodate larger RVs and trailers; they also have hookups.
The terrain here is hard and rocky, sleeping pads are suggested and leveling equipment for RV's is recommended. Firewood can not be collected but is available at the general store.
Showers and laundry are coin operated. Pine Loop (sites 265-319) are located in our tent only area, there are no generators allowed in those sites. We have flush toilets and fresh water throughout the campground, and also a free dump station. Hiker/biker sites are available for visitors arriving on foot or by bicycle, inquire at the office upon arrival.
