Tanglewood Group Campground is located 45 miles from San Bernadino, CA, in the San Bernadino Mountains, at an elevation of 7,542. This campground is situated in a pine forest. Restrooms are provided, but there is no water or trash collection. The nearest showers are at Serrano Campground. Markets and restaraunts are available in Big Bear. Popular activities include boating, fishing, and swimmimg at Bear Lake. Other recreation opportunities in the area include hiking, biking, and rock climbing. Gold Fever Trail is nearby. Directions (Google Directions):

Take I-10 (Hwy 330) to Running Springs, CA, (State Hwy 18) to Big Bear Lake Dam (State Hwy 38), for 8 miles. Turn left on Van Dusen Canyon Road (3N09) go for 4 miles. Turn right on 3N16 travel for approximately 2 miles. Take a right on 3N79 and follow for a short distance to campsite.
