Big Bend is the perfect family campground along a bend on the south branch of the Potomac River in Smoke Hole Canyon. With its situation on the river, fishing, tubing, swimming, and boating are excellent activities for the family. There is also plenty of local wildlife to keep you entertained.

Reservations are available at Big Bend from April through October. They can be made up to six months in advance but they must be made at least 4 days prior to your intended arrival date.

From state route 220, take county route 2 into the Smoke Hole Canyon. Follow route 2 along the river. Campground is at the end of the road.
