CAMPGROUND OPENING: Diamond Lake may open as early as the middle of April, or as late as May 27, depending on snow levels.
WALKUP: All sites are First Come First Serve from April/May opening until June 13 and from September 7 through October.
RESERVATIONS: Reservations are taken from June 13 through September 7. During the reservation season there are 145 campsites available for reservations, and 95 campsites available as First Come, First Serve.
LOCATION: Diamond Lake Campground is located along the eastern shore of Diamond Lake. Nearest town is Roseburg, 85 miles to the west.
INFORMATION: Entry point Gatehouse is staffed 7 days a week during the summer. Visitor center is generally staffed during the summer and can provide local recreation information. Campground hosts are located at both ends of the campground. Amphitheater provides interpretive programs on Saturday evenings. The eleven mile paved bike trail runs through the campground.
