Boise Creek Campground is located in a mixed hardwood and Douglas fir forest with many large Pacific Madrone trees. There are two vault type unisex accessible restrooms and all campsites are furnished with wooden tables and combination fire ring grills. The campground's location, 1.5 miles from the town of Willow Creek and the Trinity River, makes it an ideal location to participate in the area's many recreation activities. Fishing, swimming and whitewater rafting are all close by in the Trinity River. Campers can walk the 1/2 mile trail from the campground to the nearby creek and find a swimming hole or explore native plants and wildlife. Visitors can also check out the town's 9 hole public golf course or participate in the area's numerous cultural and social events like the annual Bigfoot Days on Labor Day weekend.

From the East, follow California State Route 299 West for 1.5 miles. Campground entrance is on the right. From the West, turn on to State Route 299, about 1 mile North of Arcata California, and proceed East for about 36 miles. Campground entrance will be on the left.
