Camp Details:

Riverside Campground is located 15 miles north of Ashton, Idaho near beautiful Island Park, in a quiet area along the banks of Henry's Fork of the Snake River at an elevation of 6,200 feet. Lodgepole pines provide partial shade, aspens dot the landscape, and summer wildflowers are abundant. Henry's Fork has great fly-fishing for rainbow and brook trout; tubing, canoeing, kayaking, and rafting are also popular on the river. Wildlife can be frequently spotted throughout the area.

This campground provides vault toilets, potable water, and garbage service but no electricity. One group site is reservable and can accommodate up to 40 people. Several single family sites are reservable, each with a picnic table, fire ring, and grill. Roads and parking spurs within the campground are paved. A campground host is on site. Firewood is available for purchase. Phone, gas, and groceries are eight miles away.

Island Park has outdoor activities for everyone. Hundreds of miles of hiking, biking, horse, and ATV trails crisscross the area. Island Park Reservoir and Henry's Lake are nearby, with boat ramps, fish cleaning stations, boating, waterskiing, and fishing. Numerous small lakes are scattered throughout Island Park. Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks are within a short drive, and offer additional hiking and fishing, as well as outstanding scenery.
