Sunset-Union Valley is located in a ponderosa pine forest at an elevation of 5000 feet. Facilities include 131 family sites, a 30-unit tent camping area, a swimming beach, Fashoda (which is not reservable), a boatramp with an accessible boarding dock, a paved parking area, a dump station, and the Union Valley Bike Trail. A store with gas, ice, and a restaurant is located within 5 miles. Popular activities include sailing, boating, fishing, biking, swimming, and hiking.
