Located in the mountains, shaded by large Jeffrey pine and aspen trees, Honeymoon Flat is a primitive campground with vault toilets. Robinson Creek runs by the campground, and the Upper and Lower Twin Lakes are a short drive away.

Nearby activities include the interpretive programs provided at Robinson Creek Campground, fishing in the Creek and Lower and Upper Twin Lakes, and the Hoover Wilderness is nearby. There are also several hiking trails in the area.

Reservations are available mid-May though Labor Day weekend, they can be made up to 6 months in advance but they must be made up to 5 days prior to your intended arrival date

Take US Highway 395 through Bridgeport. Turn south on the Twin Lakes Road at the Texaco. Travel on the Twin Lakes Road for about 8.1 miles. Turn right at Honeymoon Campground.
