Lid Creek Group Use Site is located 15 miles south of Hungry Horse along the Hungry Horse Reservoir within the Lid Creek Campground. Facilities at the campground include vault toilets, and 23 "first come-first serve" individual campsites. The group site is primitive with 12 parking spurs and rock fire rings and easy walking access to the vault toilets and Reservoir.
Please pack out what you brought including your garbage. Grizzly bears live in the area; store your food, beverages, coolers, and garbage in a manner that does not attract bears to your campsite by either storing in your vehicle, hanging it properly, or storing it in an approved storage container. Lid Creek Campground is just 23 miles SW of the West Glacier entrance into Glacier National Park.
