Todays Wordless Wednesday's post is of a Lighthouse in San Diego. Old Point Loma Lighthouse is the main feature in Cabrillo National Momument. It no longer operates as a lighthoue, but it is open to the public as a museum. It was built in 1855 by the United States government after California was added as a state. It is a small park, but there is some walking around you can do, coastal scenery to see, and coastal animals to watch. The road that leads to the park goes by many military bases, including a sub base.
