1 to 2 cans Cherry Pie Filling
1 Tube of Biscuit Dough
1 Stick of Unsalted Butter
Cinnamon and sugar mix.

Start charcoal. We’ve found a charcoal chimney works well and you don’ need lighter fluid. You’ll need about 16 to 18 briquettes.

Coat the bottom and sides of your Dutch with aluminum foil.
Spread the cherry pie filling evenly across the bottom.
Open the biscuit dough and evenly cover the pie filling.
Cut the butter into tabbs and spread evenly over the biscuit dough.
Sprinkle cinnamon sugar mixture lightly on top.
Place top on dutch oven and place Dutch oven on top of 8 to 10 briquettes that should be mostly gray. With tongs place the remaining briquettes on top of the Dutch Oven. Allow to cook for about 20 minutes Check to see if dough is brown. If not, allow to cook another 10 minutes and check again.

Makes a great warm dessert to eat on a cool evening.
