Uvalde National Fish Hatchery

Uvalde National Fish Hatchery is a warmwater fish production station located in the Heart of Texas. Florida-strain Largemouth bass and channel catfish comprise the bulk of the production at this station. Birding opportunities and facilities have increased on the hatchery over the years. Station personnel have built a bird blind, adopted moist soil management techniques and have been included as a tour site for local and state birding/touring groups.
