From Warm Springs, Virginia take US 39 west 12 miles to state route (SR) 600, turn left (south)on SR 600. Continue 8 miles on SR 600 to intersection of Twin Ridge Drive.

Bolar Flat Picnic Shelter - Stay straight at the intersection of SR 600 and Twin Ridge Drive (do not turn right). Continue 1 mile to the Bolar Flat Marina. Turn right at the marina and then take the next right.

Beach Picnic Shelter - Turn Right at the intersection of SR 600 and Twin Ridge Drive. Continue 1 mile to the picnic shelter.
