LOWER TWIN LAKES (CA)

Lower Twin Lakes is set in a large Jeffrey pine and sagebrush forest about 10 miles out from Bridgeport. Come and enjoy nature, fishing, hiking and playing in the rivers and lakes.

There are a lot of things to do in the surrounding area, an interpretive program at Robinson Creek Campground just a mile away, good fishing in Robinson Creek that runs near the camp and The Upper/Lower Twin Lakes are in walking distance of the campsite. There is also good hiking in the area, with lots of trails.

Reservations can be made from the end of May through Labor Day weekend. Reservations can be made up to 6 months in advance, but they must be made at least 4 days prior to you intended arrival date.

US Highway 395 runs through Bridgeport. From the south you would turn left at the MoMart Gas Station. Travel on the Twin Lakes Road for about 9.6 miles, then make a left turn onto South Twin Road and go approximately 0.6 miles across the bridge.
