MORAINE PARK CAMPGROUND

Moraine Park Campground is located in Rocky Mountain National park in Colorado. It is near the Beaver Meadows Entrance on Highway 36. The campground is on the north side of Moraine Park just inside the treeline offering beautiful views of Moraine Park and the surrounding mountains. There is a shuttle bus stop at the campground that provides access to many park trailheads thoughout the Bear Lake cooridor eliminating the hassle of finding available parking. From Cheyenne, Wyoming take I-25 South to Loveland, Colorado. Take Exit 257B off I-25, which is Highway 34 West to Estes Park. From Estes Park follow Highway 36 West towards park headquarters/Beaver Meadows Entrance Station. From the Beaver Meadows Entrance Station take the first left onto Bear Lake Road and follow the signs to the campground. From Denver, Colorado take I-25 North to Exit 243. Take Exit 243 off I-25, which is Highway 66 West towards Longmont and Lyons. In Lyons merge onto Highway 36 West towards Estes Park. Stay on Highway 36 West towards park headquarters/Beaver Meadows Entrance Station. From the Beaver Meadows Entrance Station take the first left onto Bear Lake Road and follow the signs. From Grand Lake, Colorado take Highway 34 East (Trailridge Road)through Rocky Mountain National Park to Deer Ridge junction. At Deer Ridge Junction stay straight, which is Highway 36 East and go approximately 3 miles to Bear Lake Road. Turn right on Bear Lake Road and follow the signs to the campground.
